E6011AllDCEN
DCEP
AC
Deep / Fast solidificationElectrode for welding carbon steel and galvanized steel with a tensile strength of 60,000 PSI.
– Deep penetration
– Fast solidification
Ideal for steels containing low to moderate dirt, rust, or paint. Use DCEN for thin sheet metal, angle joints.
E6013All*DCEN
DCEP
AC
Shallow / Fast movementElectrode for general-purpose welding of carbon steel with a tensile strength of 60,000 PSI.
Easy to use electrode (easy start, stable arc, minimal spatter, easy slag removal).
Increases ease of assembling poorly aligned joints. Easily used on small AC sources with low open-circuit voltage.

DCEP
AC
Shallow / Fast movementElectrode for general-purpose welding of carbon steel with a tensile strength of 70,000 PSI.
Easy to use electrode (easy start, stable arc, minimal spatter, easy slag removal).
Preferred electrode for applications requiring a high deposition rate and shallow penetration.

DCEP
AC
Shallow / FillingElectrode for general-purpose welding of carbon steel with a tensile strength of 70,000 PSI.
Easy to use electrode (easy start, stable arc, minimal spatter, easy slag removal).
Preferred electrode for applications requiring a very high deposition rate and shallow penetration.
E7018All*DCEN
AC
Medium / Filling and fast solidificationLow-hydrogen electrode for welding low, medium, and high carbon steels with a tensile strength of 70,000 PSI.
Ideal for all-position welding and tacking. Not recommended for low voltage open-circuit AC sources.
*These electrodes must be delivered in a sealed package and stored in an oven at 120°C until use. If they are not used within 4 hours of removal from the oven or sealed packaging, they must be reconditioned or considered as a non-basic electrode.

AC
Medium / Filling and fast solidificationLow-hydrogen electrode for welding low, medium, and high carbon steels with a tensile strength of 70,000 PSI.
Ideal for all-position welding and tacking. Recommended for low voltage open-circuit AC sources that operate on 208-220 VAC.
* These electrodes must be delivered in a sealed package and stored in an oven at 120°C until use. If they are not used within 4 hours of removal from the oven or sealed packaging, they must be reconditioned or considered as a non-basic electrode.

*All positions except vertical down.

DCEN: Direct Current Electrode Negative (Formerly known as direct polarity)

DCEP: Direct Current Electrode Positive (Formerly known as reverse polarity)
